How to track online shopping return deadlines

To track a return window, copy the last eligible return date from the retailer’s order details into DueRadar. Set an earlier preparation date for finding the receipt, checking the instructions, and arranging the return. Keep the deadline open until you have completed the return or decided to keep the item.

  1. 1. Capture the retailer’s actual cutoff

Check the order’s return instructions. Confirm whether the cutoff is for starting the return, posting the parcel, or the retailer receiving it. Save a clear title, such as Return headphones, and the relevant order-page link. DueRadar does not calculate a retailer’s eligibility rules.

  2. 2. Leave time for the return itself

Choose a preparation date that leaves room for printing a label, finding packaging, and reaching a drop-off point. Pick the reminder lead times that fit your situation. The suggested lead times in the guest planner are editable examples.

  3. 3. Close the deadline after taking action

When the item is returned or you decide to keep it, mark the deadline handled. Snooze a reminder if you need another nudge, but remember that snoozing does not extend the retailer’s return window. Track a refund check separately if it needs its own date.

Does DueRadar automatically find my return deadline?

No. You enter the applicable date from the retailer. DueRadar keeps that date, your preparation window, and reminders together; it does not read orders or initiate returns.
